Taking a break looking back on MICE 2016 I & MICE 2016 II. This summer from June 1st to August 31st, Sketch Lottery is doing a free for all. This means anyone can submit from the character list. Usually you have to wait until a character is chosen weekly. Since this give me time to sketch any characters previously missed, I chose Hagar The Horrible.

Michele Witchipoo’s rendition of Hagar The Horrible with some Norse/Odin symbolism thrown in. Originally done for Sketch Lottery, June 2018.

Hagar was put in Odin‘s place, while his buddy Lucky Eddie was put into Loki‘s position.

Don’t forget to check out all the other sketches by various artists on Sketch Lottery.

It’s been a while since I sent anything to Sketch Lottery. So I did Felix The Cat as Jerry Only from The Misfits.

Usually I will post a crop of my sketch, and send people to the site itself. This time I felt the scan didn’t do my sketch any justice. So I re-scanned the piece using a different dpi.

Did a few sketches for this year’s Inktober. Just haven’t gotten around to posting them. Here’s a quick one. Guess it was inspired by Pennywise, and the current success of the film It.

This wasn’t my first Inktober sketch, but it’s one of the better ones. Now back to sketching.

Summer has come to a close. Technically Fall doesn’t begin until September 23rd. It’s going back to school, work, etc, that unofficially signifies the end of those warm summer days. Unless you’ve been paying attention to global warming.

Last month made some headlines in the U.S. The summer of 2017 was also the 50th anniversary of the famous ‘summer of love.’

Back to the present. Yesterday as of this post was Labor Day. Of course, Psycho Bunny is the founder, member, president and CEO of The Unemployment Appreciation Society. Psycho Bunny’s beloved mother has some thoughts about this…

Lately been nostalgic for anything early New Wave and Post Punk. I’ve always been a firm believer in moving forward, but when it comes to my musical tastes, that’s a different story. No matter how many times I check out current music, in the end I always go back to anything between the years 1965 to 2007. Particularly anything underground from the ’80s.

A few weeks ago I was checking out episodes of the Los Angles based program New Wave Theater, which now can be seen on the streaming channel Night Flight. (Night Flight was also a late night program on the USA Network during the ’80s). So this probably was probably the basis of the latest Psycho Bunny sketch for Monday, June 26th, 2017.
