The Historia Discordia website, named after the book ‘Historia Discordia: Origins of the Discordian Society’ written by Adam Gorightly, not only focuses on the book, but on Discordianism itself. What the hell is Discordianism you ask? Well, you can read about ithere, here, andhere.
Still scratching your head I see. Well nevermind.
You still order your own copy from RVP Press via Amazon, and be one of the coolest kids on the block. I have an illustration in that book as well. Oh yeah, and this book also has a Facebook page. So get on it. Fnord.
Adam Gorightly is a writer who specializes in Discordia, conspiracy theories and fringe culture. An illustration of mine was used for his latest book release. I’m honored to have my artwork used in a book which discusses illuminated iconoclasts as Robert Anton Wilson and Discordian founders Greg Hill and Kerry Thornley.
You can order your own copy here, and also check out Adam’s blog. In the past I’ve contributed to his ‘Devil Girl of The Month’ which is always fun to do.
I will have one illustration published in another soon to released book, ‘The Age of Saints. An illustrated guide to the Saints of Wales’ written by Peter Anthony Freeman from Llanelli, Wales and published by A Raven Above Press.
The theme for this particular book is on Welsh saints. Each artist who participated was asked to pick a Welsh saint from a list. I chose to do Saint Cadoc.
This book debut at the Los Angeles St. David’s Day Festival-National Day of Wales event. It’ll take place March 1st, 2014, with a book release party the same day.
Here’s a clip of the illustration done of Saint Cadoc. Didn’t post the entire illo, cause after all, I want you to check out the book. Think of it as a sneek preview.
