This week I decided to do a quick Psycho Bunny sketch in watercolor. Also bring in a character not used in a while – Psycho Bunny’s mother.

So not only am I running out of my glitter watercolor supply, but it seems as if Photoshop didn’t pick up on the colors too well. Eh. What can you do.

Here’s both versions.

Original watercolor version. Psycho Bunny and his mother. Based on the comic ‘Psycho Bunny’ written and drawn by Michele Witchipoo.  Sept. 2016. Pen and glitter watercolors.

Every Monday I’ve been posting a new Psycho Bunny pic of the week. You can check it out on Facebook. You can order comics through my website. Also will be at MICE next month. Till then.

Inktober is winding down. Just like Halloween, there’s only one more day left. So here’s my Inktober sketch for Oct. 30th, 2014.

Robed Woman, Oct. 2014. Ink and watercolor. Illustrated by Michele Witchipoo.

Got the idea for this sketch through someone’s Facebook posting. It was an article about this Iranian feminist vampire film. The still from that movie intrigued me, so I went with it.

Yesterday was not only Friday the 13th, but it coincided with mercury in retrograde. Along with that, the full moon hit Friday the 13th during eastern standard time. Sometime around 12:11 a.m. in the morning. We’re not going to get another Friday the 13th until August 13th, 2049.

To commemorate this, I banged out a real quick watercolor sketch of an unlucky, but sexy black kitty. Black cats are not really unlucky. I had an awesome black cat myself for 17 years before she passed away in 2008.

The sketch was done fast in glitter watercolor and pen. Couldn’t upload the sketch until the following night, but hey. The number thirteen isn’t always such a bad thing.

My illustration titled “Shock Rock” which describes when GWAR was on The Jerry Springer show will be part of an exhibit this Saturday, May 3rd, 2014, 7 pm.

Over a 100 different artists will have their work on display, in various mediums. Already it’s gotten mentions in the Metal music press. I’m really psyched to be a part of this show. Below is my piece, which along with others will also be for sale. Part of the proceeds will go towards the Dave Brockie Foundation. If you were ever a GWAR fan, definitely check out this show.

Can’t recall the exact time I started making homemade greeting cards. Most of the time I’ve made cards like these for friends. Here’s a few photos.

Handmade greeting card with Phillip K. Dick quote inside. Card, design and drawing done by Michele Witchipoo. Circa 2012.

Above is a photo of a card made sometime around 2012. I’m trying to remember who I made this one for. While the recipient’s name escapes me (perhaps for a good reason), I can tell what I can recall. The drawing was done in either watercolor or gouache along with ink. Enclosed is a Phillip K. Dick quote. The card stock itself was left over from an art project.

Below may or may not be the same card as the one above. This might’ve been created during my blue hair phase two years ago.

Slow news day today. So I’m thinking of ways to supplement my income. For years people have been asking me about selling prints. So finally I’m doing something about it.

This morning I set up an account on RedBubble. See where it goes. So check it out. I’ll be selling greeting cards here. Been meaning to sell greeting cards anyway. Also available, prints, posters, cell cases and iPad covers. The cell cases and iPad covers are more on the pricey side, but look at it this way. These are unique covers that no one else will have. I guarantee you won’t see anyone else with a Quentin Crisp cellphone cover – or a Quentin Crisp greeting card since we’re at it. Anyway, the stuff posted is some of my recent work, and more will be posted soon. In the meantime, I’ll check out more of the on demand art sites.

This is late, but here’s something to bring in the New Year. A commission of The Exorcist, New Year Eve’s style.

This commission was to basically perform an “exorcism” on 2013. Kick out the old, bring in the new.
