Okay, so it’s been over a month since posting a Psycho Bunny Sketch of The Week. Life has been really busy. Plus I started a brand new radio show, which I interview comic book pros, like artists, writers, podcasters, and other pros. Details forthcoming in another post.

In the meantime, October is here, which means it’s also Inktober. So combining the two, here’s my Psycho Bunny and Inktober 2019 sketch # 1, with the Inktober prompt of Ring.

Squeaky Squeakums, star of my latest comic is honoring Black Cat Appreciation Day. (August 18th) She got her demon buddy Magnus Maximus to round up a few of her black kitty sisters.

Squeaky Squeakums and Maximus celebrate Black Cat Appreciation Day. Based on the comic written and drawn by Michele Witchipoo, on WitchesBrewPress. Aug. 2019.

Black cats are awesome indeed. Despite their beauty, black and tuxedo cats have a hard time finding forever homes. ‘Tis a shame. I’ve personally found black and tuxedo cats to be quite smart. The real life Squeaky (who passed away a few months ago) was clever – especially when it came to food. So go down to your local shelter and adopt a black or tuxedo cat of your own today.

Squeaky was also the real life muse behind my latest comic. Available for order.

Back in June, I traveled to the Nassau County section of Long Island, NY to do a podcast interview for It Came From The Radio. The host was Mark Torres, who’s been doing the show on and off for about ten years. Currently the podcast is recorded at local station Grindhouse Radio, GHR for short. Both It Came From The Radio and Grindhouse Radio focus on all aspects of pop culture. Guests range is from indie to the well established.

This wasn’t my first time being interviewed on the radio. Back in 2010 I was on WVOX in Westchester, NY. For this recent broadcast, I show up on time, despite a snafu with my GPS. Have to say, I was very impressed with the vibe and decor of Grindhouse Radio. The staff was professional, yet warm and friendly.

As we were recording the program, the show was on Facebook Live. We discussed a range of subjects, ranging from recent film releases, The Avengers (comic & film, not the Punk band), Spice Girls and of course, my own work. My cat Squeaky, the basis of my latest comic had just passed away back in June, so we briefly discussed that. Mark was an awesome host. In all I had a really good time. Probably a better experience than when I was in Westchester nine years ago.

It Came From The Radio can be heard in multiple formats, such as iTunes, I Heart Radio, Overcast, Pocket Cast, Breaker, Google Podcast, Radio Public, Podbean, Spotify, PlayerFM, Soundcloud, Acast, Castbox, TuneIn, Stitcher, Podmust, Luminary, Blubrry, Mixcloud, or Google Play pages. There’s also an embedded player on the It Came From The Radio blog itself. You can also check out Beyond The Dawn Studios.

Thanks to both Mark from It Came From The Radio and GHR for having me.

Not everyone cares for fireworks. Family pets like cats, dogs and other animals get easily frightened by loud commotions. Squeaky Squeakums decided to do something about it. She enlisted the help of her demon buddy, Magnus Maximus to put a stop to those pesky fireworks during the Fourth of July.

Can you feel the heat? I meant literally. Over here in NYC, it’s felt. It’s that time of year where you take some extra time shopping in the supermarket – and only because they have that maximum central air going.

Psycho Bunny himself isn’t too thrilled. Not at the moment anyway.

Introducing the Psycho Bunny sketch of the week for June 28th, 2019.

PBBeachBallJune2019WEB

Summer’s here! Psycho Bunny sketch of the week based on the comic book written and drawn by Michele Witchipoo. On WitchesBrewPress. June 2019.

Although I did promise an upcoming Psycho Bunny issue…allow me to be candid. I’m slowly starting to move away from Psycho Bunny, and more into doing more comics about Squeaky with her demon friend. Right now, that’s where my focus is at. Then again, anything could change. Not going to give up on Psycho Bunny altogether. Just want to work on my Squeaky comic more. We’ll see. As it is said; nothing is true, everything is permitted.
